    No… don’t let people belittle you and make you feel like a number that only exists to make you money… you are a business yourself! You are there because the bottom line is you are carving out a life for yourself. Don’t forget that! This guy sounds like he has worked for way too many greedy companies that expect you to work just as hard outside of working hours unpaid then in working hours. If your interviewer asks how much of your own money you spent on making them more money… don’t take the job.

    If your grandma has a hotdog stand, and a stranger has a hotdog stand next to it. Who would you buy it from? Your grandma obviously. Even if the stranger wears a suit and looks higher status… Familiarity and liking comes before status. Liking can raise status

    I close half million to more per month in sales. I would never use that stupid sales gimmick. And if anyone uses that on me immediate get and up and go. Sales is about listening to your customers needs and vision and providing him the security you can perform what he desires. Not about some stupid sales closing line.

    I mean I work for a charity, so it’s still pretty much sales but I’m not selling to solve a problem… at least not a real one they’re threatened by directly. There’s not a problem to solve. I’m selling to everyone. Would love more content on that

    Jeremy, some people like me (I cannot be the only one) look for things for my VISION BOARD. Meaning I am considering my bright future and what are the things that DESERVE to be on my vision board or for my next year's plan of action. Those who try any of those closes would get nowhere. I have found that even if I disclose that I am collecting my what's next to dream about ideas or what's next to budget for ideas - the arm twister hard closers would go bonkers trying to work me over. I have fun with them as I watch them practice on me - because sometimes I try to decide if I will do business with that Rep, even if I have decided to get the thing - and sometimes I am future casting. Regardless, I love to watch the sales process unfold and have mad respect for those who do it well or walk away with a list of never-dos from those who did not do so well. It's always fun to watch your videos.

      @@JosiahMatthews tldr, sales doesnt even rank... in fact when do salesmen ever sell anything to people with less money than the salesman has? according to forbes highest paying occupations: Pediatric surgeons $449,320 Cardiologists $423,250 Orthopedic surgeons, except pediatric $378,250 Radiologists $353,960 Surgeons, all other $343,990 Dermatologists $342,860 Anesthesiologists $339,470 Oral and maxillofacial surgeons $334,310 Athletes and sports competitors $328,830 Ophthalmologists, except pediatric $312,120 ... i could go on, but at rank 15 are CEO's at an average pay per role of $258,900 but its forbes, so who knows where they get that info and its by occupation, not carreer so lets look at a different list, highest paying degrees in the us according to edvoy: 1. Health and Medical Preparatory (Pre-Med) 2. Petroleum Engineering 3. Zoology 4. Pharmacology 5. Economics 6. Applied Mathematics 7. Actuarial Science 8. Engineering and Industrial Management 9. Engineering Mechanics, Physics and Science 10. Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering also on a more common sense note, tell telemarketers and car salesman that their profession is the highest paid in the world
