No… don’t let people belittle you and make you feel like a number that only exists to make you money… you are a business yourself! You are there because the bottom line is you are carving out a life for yourself. Don’t forget that! This guy sounds like he has worked for way too many greedy companies that expect you to work just as hard outside of working hours unpaid then in working hours. If your interviewer asks how much of your own money you spent on making them more money… don’t take the job.

I close half million to more per month in sales. I would never use that stupid sales gimmick. And if anyone uses that on me immediate get and up and go. Sales is about listening to your customers needs and vision and providing him the security you can perform what he desires. Not about some stupid sales closing line.
I mean I work for a charity, so it’s still pretty much sales but I’m not selling to solve a problem… at least not a real one they’re threatened by directly. There’s not a problem to solve. I’m selling to everyone. Would love more content on that

Ok so as much as I respect jeremy.....your saying what ppl do wrong, but what do u do to fix it?
Well, I do understand what he means. But his only actual tip was to NOT use that approach and "interrupt the pattern"
Jeremy, some people like me (I cannot be the only one) look for things for my VISION BOARD. Meaning I am considering my bright future and what are the things that DESERVE to be on my vision board or for my next year's plan of action. Those who try any of those closes would get nowhere. I have found that even if I disclose that I am collecting my what's next to dream about ideas or what's next to budget for ideas - the arm twister hard closers would go bonkers trying to work me over. I have fun with them as I watch them practice on me - because sometimes I try to decide if I will do business with that Rep, even if I have decided to get the thing - and sometimes I am future casting. Regardless, I love to watch the sales process unfold and have mad respect for those who do it well or walk away with a list of never-dos from those who did not do so well. It's always fun to watch your videos.

None of this crap either that that kid or worse that old guy says actually works. Decades of sales experience and you’re not going to buy anything that you are not predisposed to buying if you do make a purchase you will turn around and return it the second you come to your senses.
